Q: How long does an e‑bike lithium battery last?
A: Typically 3‑5 years or 800‑1000+ charge cycles, after which capacity gradually fades. ShunTongDa packs are rated for 1000+ cycles. Replace the pack when range drops noticeably or the battery swells.
Q: What certifications should my e‑bike battery have?
A: Standalone replacement packs should comply with UL 2271 (batteries for light electric vehicles). UL 2849 covers the complete e‑bike electrical system. ShunTongDa batteries carry CE, RoHS, UN38.3 and MSDS compliance for global shipping. Ask for the certification documents before purchase.
Q: How should I store my e‑bike battery in winter?
